“The money we earn is from legitimate businesses and we have never done anything that’s illegal. So what even if they run an investigation on us?” Qiao Mei asked.

“Fine,” He Ning said through gritted teeth.

“Alright then, there’s nothing else. You can leave now,” Qiao Mei said nonchalantly as she waved her hand.

He Ning was stunned to the spot. He looked at Qiao Mei in disbelief and said, “You asked me to come here just to question me? Is there really nothing else?”
