2519 The Other Side of the Barren Sea!
At this point, Peace paused. “Besides these resources, do you have any feys that can control others? I am in great need of such a technique!”
Peace spoke with great seriousness.
It was not that she did not have confidence in herself. She was the true ruler of the large city she resided in. Part of becoming the Green Continent Goddess was strengthening her ability to rule over her city.
Despite Peace having a great deal of confidence in herself, she did not share the same level of confidence in others.
She had seen too much darkness when she had been fighting for her life in the wilderness. There was a high chance that after a person had painstakingly dug a deep hole and discovered a mouthful of muddy water, they would end up knocked out by another.
Peace had personally witnessed too many of these occurrences. This was why she wanted to obtain a technique to effectively control others despite everything being in a stable state for now. She could only rest east and allow others to carry out her ambitious plan when she was 100% certain she could control them.
Since Peace had spoken, it meant that she had a real need for these items.
Peace had contracted insect-species feys. Many insect-species feys could help her to control others.
The gu-species was just a small branch of insect-species feys. There were many of such feys that could control other lifeforms.
Lin Yuan could pick a gu-species fey for Peace to contract and utilize.
Before Lin Yuan could agree to Peace’s request, Liu Jie, who rarely spoke during the Astronomical Parliament parliamentary meetings, said, “Peace has contracted two insect-species feys. She isn’t suited to contract any more feys. If she does so, it could affect her development in the future.
“I happen to have an insect-species carcinoma fey that can meet her needs. Leo, why don’t you deliver this insect-species carcinoma fey to her? It can fully meet her need to control others!”
Lin Yuan knew that the Insect Queen had taken control of almost 40 insect-species carcinoma feys. Each of them had their own special abilities that could all be used by Liu Jie during battle.
It was likely that the insect-species carcinoma feys that could control lifeforms were the earliest to be acquired by Liu Jie.
There would be no better choice than these insect-species carcinoma feys for Peace.
Firstly, the Insect Queen controlled the insect-species carcinoma feys through poison, which would invade their bodies and establish permanent control. Regardless of the distance between them and the Insect Queen, the insect-species carcinoma feys remained obedient to her orders.
There was a limit to the number of lifeforms that gu-species feys could control. Meanwhile, Insect-species carcinoma feys could control far more.
Liu Jie’s insect-species carcinoma feys had all reached Diamond X/Legend at least.
The Diamond X/Legend insect-species carcinoma fey would be a source of support for Peace and give her the means to fend off danger!
Peace hurriedly thanked Liu Jie.
She did not know what insect-species carcinoma feys were, but it did not matter as long as it would enable her to control others.
“Peace, Virgo’s insect-species carcinoma feys have very strong abilities. Once I’ve prepared the eight Tide Rain Mantis and the potions they need, I’ll deliver them to you along with Virgo’s insect-species carcinoma fey.
“At that time, you can communicate privately with Virgo through the Thoughts Letter Paper. He will be able to guide you through any questions you might have!”
After addressing Peace’s issue, Lin Yuan shifted his focus to Bei Xu.
Bei Xu’s problem was much bigger than what Peace was facing!
This was because, after almost a year of development, he had discovered a city where many humans lived.
He instructed some of his subordinates to infiltrate this city and learned that they had ways of reaching the surface!
This discovery overwhelmed Bei Xu.
His biggest dream was to find a way to reach the surface because this would allow him to meet with Lin Yuan, Wen Yu, Yin Lin, and the rest.
Otherwise, he would remain stuck in this place where daylight never reached, and it would be as though he did not exist in the same world as Lin Yuan and the rest at all.
Bei Xu never forgot the day he impulsively killed a manager to avenge his parents. Since then, he had been on the run.
After being seriously injured, he fell into a dark river and eventually drifted to a bank, where he stopped. At the very least, he did not end up as a floating corpse in the dark river.
Given his situation then, he could have ended up as the meal of a lifeform lurking in the river.
As time slipped by, he made the wish to continue living.
It was this wish that enabled him to extend his life, remove his identity as a stone insect, and gain many friends.
The Astronomical Parliament’s members were family to Bei Xu—the most sacred existence!
Even Bei Xu’s dreams were filled with the wish to be able to sit and chat with the others of the Astronomical Parliament.
Now, the chance had finally arrived.
Bei Xu eagerly shared this information with Lin Yuan.
Lin Yuan was also filled with excitement after hearing Bei Xu’s news.
If he could leave the world of darkness where he currently resided, he would be able to locate Bei Xu on the main world’s map.
Alas, the main world was enormous. Regardless of how capable Lin Yuan was, there was no guarantee that he would be able to find Bei Xu.
After speaking with the Moon Empress, Lin Yuan learned that there was a sea northwest of the main world. There were almost no lifeforms living in that sea. All aquatic lifeforms distance themselves and that area as much as possible.
This was because the seawater was scalding and full of poison. It would be difficult for even Diamond aquatic lifeforms to last more than five hours in that poison.
Creation Breed feys could resist the poison, but there was no way that Creation Breed feys would be willing to remain in such a destitute area.
Hence, this sea was dubbed the Barren Sea.
The Barren Sea was extremely large. The deeper the water, the higher the concentration of poison.
Hence, the factions from major federations rarely explored the other side of the Barren Sea. All they knew was that humans were living there as well.
Lin Yuan could not help but guess that the Grotto Continent was located right on the other side of the Barren Sea.
