On the third day of recruit training…
… … …
Officer Brandt proposed Kyle be the first choice for the Super Soldier Program.
Joseph Kingsley proposed Kyle be the first choice for the Super Soldier Program.
… … …
At the bottom of Kyle archive files were signatures of three high ranking individuals approving his assessment and qualification for the Super Soldier Program.
“I didn’t expect that on the sixth day, more than three officers in charge had recommended a recruit for the Super Soldier Program. Fast… to fast… the review, process, and selection should be more extensive.” A middle-aged man of majestic aura put down the files. His dress blues showed the rank of a four-star general. [I]
“To be honest, I don’t really like that kid.” Officer Brandt curved his lips downwards. Sighing, he said, “But I have to admit, he has all the talents and qualifications of a true soldier.”
Joseph Kingsley nodded his head in agreement, voice tinged with emotions. “Yes. In the short six days of training him, his skills soared tremendously. He’d be able to compete against our highly skilled men. General Chester, if you hadn’t reminded me that the Super Soldier Program has yet to be tested, I’d have thought that Kyle was a Super Soldier born solely for this experiment.”
“Correct!” Joseph Kingsley replied positively. “It may not only be here in the United States but possibly the whole world!”
When three high ranking officers finished their statement, General Chester looked at the old doctor with intelligent and perceiving eyes. “Dr. Abraham Erskine, what do you think? Ultimately, the Super Soldier Serum is your research and creation. You should also first review this potential candidate.”
“Kyle is really good in all aspects of physical conditioning.” Dr. Abraham Erskine replied slowly, and finally, with his heart crossed, he continued, “But I think Steve Rogers is the more appropriate choice. His will and need for justice are the necessary qualifications for a perfect soldier.”
Steve Rogers was his favorite choice as a super soldier, but Kyle Soldiers, he shone so brilliantly that it’d almost suppressed the light of other recruits here in the training base.
“Three to one.” General Chester tapped his finger on the table. He turned to the last man standing. “Howard Stark, do you have anything to say as Head of Science Strategy for the Super Soldier Program?”
Howard Stark, a gentleman dressed in fine suit, shrugged and smiled lightly. “I’m only responsible for scientific strategies. It’s your job to select the qualified candidate. I don’t have any objections to who you choose.”
“I’ll go.” Peggy Carter who remained silent all throughout suddenly spoke up.
“All right. Then you’ll go.” General Chester nodded. “Tomorrow, prepare for the final stages of the Super Soldier Program!”
… …. …
Recruit Barracks.
After a warm bath, Kyle stood naked in front of the mirror. His blonde hair continuously dripped droplets of water.
Leaning over, he grabbed and put on a pair of shorts and went back to admiring himself.
His facial features, it was too exquisite — when turned to the side, it exposed the sharpness of his jawline sharp enough to cut someone in half. Moreover, he had a strong and straight physique; blocks of muscle made of steel.
Kyle, he looked captivating and charming.
