Chapter 222: Chapter 222: I am the Sect Master’s Daughter
As the Black Flood Dragon King’s massive tail swept by, a horrific sonic boom resounded.
With Hu Yue’s minions’ faces turning pale, the colossal tail swept them away like dry leaves in a gale.
Among Hu Yue’s underlings were not a few Emperor Realm masters, yet, how could they withstand the Black Flood Dragon King at the Emperor Realm Peak?
Watching all her subordinates being flung away, crashing deep into the mountainside, piercing through countless palaces, Hu Yue was livid, her chest feeling as if it was about to explode.
She stared at Yang Xiaotian with murderous eyes, “Yang Xiaotian, you’re dead, and so is this flood dragon of yours—you’ll both die horribly!”
“Is that so,” Xiaotian said with a tug, snatching her whip from her hands.
Hu Yue felt a pain in the hand holding the whip and saw her usually well-maintained, tender hands become bloodied and lacerated.
Seeing her typically pampered hands bloodied and torn by Yang Xiaotian, Hu Yue felt both pain and hatred, her eyes nearly shooting fire, “Yang Xiaotian, I am the Sect Master’s daughter, my father will not let you off!”
Listening to her constant mention of being the Sect Master’s daughter, Xiaotian said, “You don’t need to tell me, I know you’re the Sect Master’s daughter.” Saying that, he lashed out with the whip.
He sent her flying with a direct hit.
Hu Yue, smashed into the distance, felt a burning pain all over her body.
She was dumbfounded, “You dare to whip me!”
This whip had been specially crafted for her.
She had always whipped those who dared defy her.
And she did so with great ease.
But she had never imagined that one day she too would be whipped by someone else.
“If you can whip others, why can’t others whip you,” Yang Xiaotian’s eyes were cold, “No one is more noble than anyone else.” Finished speaking, he threw her whip so it stuck into the mountain far away.
“Also, tell your underlings to get out of those mountain peaks today, otherwise, I’ll come back tomorrow.”
After saying that, he left with the Black Flood Dragon King and Wu Qi.
Watching Yang Xiaotian leave, Hu Yue spat blood from sheer rage, shouting hoarsely, “Yang Xiaotian, I will not let you off!”
Looking at the mountainsides that had been reduced to rubble, Hu Yue was furious enough to storm heaven; it had taken her years to cultivate this scenery, and now it was all destroyed!
Hu Yue stood up, swallowed an Elixir and without wiping the blood from her hands, mounted a Unicorn and flew towards her father’s palace.
It wasn’t long before Hu Yue saw her parents, Hu Nan and Liu Ping.
As Hu Yue had purposely not wiped the blood off her hands, allowing it to drip all over her, she looked quite frightening.
Seeing Hu Yue covered in blood, Liu Ping paled and rushed to heal Hu Yue, her heart aching unbearably while angrily exclaiming, “Who hurt you, who exactly did this?!”
Hu Yue sobbed, “Mother, it was Yang Xiaotian! That wretched girl Yang Ling’er’s brother, he’s the one who hurt me!”
“What!” Liu Ping exclaimed, her rage boiling, “Yang Ling’er’s wretched brother! Who gave him the gall to hurt you!”
She turned to Hu Nan, “You, as the Sect Master, look at the kind of people you’ve recruited! Audacious to the extreme, daring to hurt my daughter the moment he enters the sect. Does he have any respect for the sect rules, does he regard us at all!”
Hu Nan too frowned, summoning his chief disciple Fang Shaoqiang, “Go and find out what exactly happened.”
Liu Ping, hearing this, angrily said, “What’s there to investigate, Yang Xiaotian has hurt our daughter, it’s clear as day!” Then to Fang Shaoqiang, “Go, arrest that Yang Xiaotian immediately!”
Fang Shaoqiang couldn’t help looking towards Hu Nan.
Hu Nan scolded, “Nonsense!” and then said to Fang Shaoqiang, “Find out what happened.” He added, “I want to know the real reason.”
He knew that Fang Shaoqiang sometimes played tricks behind his back with Liu Ping.
“Yes, Master,” Fang Shaoqiang responded respectfully, bowing before exiting.
Seeing this, Hu Yue wept to Liu Ping, “Mother, you don’t know, that Yang Xiaotian is so arrogant and overbearing. This morning when he came to my mountain peak, he attacked and injured people, and my cave dwelling has been reduced to ruins by Yang Xiaotian.”
“What!” Liu Ping exclaimed in anger upon hearing this, and said to Hu Nan, “Listen to that! That Yang Xiaotian is so disdainful!”
Hu Nan, however, stared at his daughter, “Why would Yang Xiaotian specifically go to your mountain peak to hurt people?”
Hu Yue mumbled, “Who knows what kind of madness has taken him! Perhaps it’s because he heard about me targeting his sister before, and he came today to vent his anger on her behalf.”
Hu Nan wore a puzzled expression. Soon, Fang Shaoqiang, who had been sent to investigate, returned with a report and didn’t dare to hide anything, explaining the situation in detail.
Upon finding out that his daughter had first seized Yang Xiaotian’s mountain peak, Hu Nan immediately became furious with her, “Do you have anything else to say?”
Hu Yue shrank behind Liu Ping.
But Liu Ping said, “Although it was your daughter who was at fault first, Yang Xiaotian indeed injured your daughter. His actions clearly show he doesn’t consider us at all.”
Hu Nan snorted, “It’s just a superficial wound.”
At this point, Fang Shaoqiang said, “Master, I also think Yang Xiaotian is too presumptuous! The reason he dared to act so brazenly and hurt Second Junior Sister must be, first, because he has tamed the Divine Flame, and second, because he has an Emperor Realm Flood Dragon at his side.”
Liu Ping said, “Shaoqiang is right, we should make him hand over the Divine Flame and that Flood Dragon! They need tighter control!”
Upon hearing this, Hu Nan immediately interrupted, “Enough, let’s not mention these matters anymore!” Then he turned to Hu Yue and said, “Now go back and have your slaves vacate those mountain peaks.”
“If you dare to disregard the Sect’s rules again, even if you are my daughter, I will punish you without mercy!”
So, not long after Yang Xiaotian returned to the Inner Sect Disciples’ residence, He Feng from the Affairs Hall came over to tell him that there were mountain peaks available, asking Yang Xiaotian to move there.
He let Yang Xiaotian choose one for himself.
Yang Xiaotian naturally picked the largest one.
That day, Yang Xiaotian and the others moved over.
Originally, Hu Yue’s slaves had cultivated a herbal field on the mountain peak, but when they moved out, they blasted the field to smithereens, obviously at Hu Yue’s behest.
Yang Xiaotian, accompanied by his parents and Wu Qi, among others, walked a short loop atop the mountain peak, and gazing at the picturesque scene that resembled a heavenly palace, everyone grew happier the more they looked.
Afterward, Yang Xiaotian asked everyone to start working on building shelters, as they couldn’t exactly sleep under the open sky.
All being experts, they managed to construct several spacious wooden houses by the time darkness fell.
Although they were just wooden houses, the mountain peak was rich in Spiritual Energy and spacious; it was much more comfortable and relaxing than the Inner Sect Disciples’ residence.
Yang Xiaotian stood at the peak’s summit, facing the wind and gazing into the distance.
From now on, this would be his base of revolution, and he needed to improve and structure it properly.
However, restructuring such a large mountain peak was indeed a mammoth task.
