Chapter 1211: Kill Them All

The three were all average immortals. They must be the slaves digging Spring Gold in here. They were not the ones that ascended around the same time with Lu Li, so they must have been working at the Mountain of Vicissitudes for quite some time.
The three of them were not young. Their breaths indicated that they were advanced in age. The one in the front was a hunchbacked old man with wrinkles on his face. Something in his eyes was wicked, very disturbing.
Of the other two, one of them was a middle-aged man, and the other was an obese lady. Though she was not slim, she wore a bright red dress. But since she was not slim, the red dress on her was upsetting.
“Hiss, hiss, who gives you the courage to consume Spring Gold? You two are bold!”
When the hunchbacked old man walked over, he glared at the Deaf Taoist, sneering.
Before Lu Li and the Deaf Taoist could reply, this man went on, “I don’t think you both can last for five days once I report this matter to the prefecture army.”
The Deaf Taoist was scared. What worried him the most was for the prefecture army to identify him. The three could not see that he was from the Region of Doom. The three only regarded him as an average beast. But someone must have had the ability to see through him in the prefecture army.
Killing intent gradually seized the Deaf Taoist, but he turned to Lu Li for instructions, which surprised the group of three.
Lu Li was young and not that powerful, either. The three thought that Lu Li was merely the Deaf Taoist’s minion. They did not foresee that Lu Li was the decision-maker here.
Lu Li kept a straight face and asked coldly, “What is your intention? Get straight to the point.”
The obese lady laughed. Her well-developed bosoms trembled in a scary way. She glanced at the handsome young man that was Lu Li and said, “Hey, you sure know what to say. Hand over your Spring Gold and then let us fool around for a bit. We will pretend we did not see anything. How about that?”
Lu Li suddenly felt the urge to puke. It nauseated him when he imagined how the obese lady would take off her dress and show her flesh.
Forcing down the urge to throw up, Lu Li replied indifferently, “Commander Ye has said that you cannot rob others of Spring Gold. Aren’t you deliberately breaking the law?”
“Ha, ha, ha!”
The old hunchbacked man laughed. “You must be new to the Mountain of Vicissitudes, right? Do you know how many people die in those mines and pits every year? Robbing? The prefecture armies don’t even care about the killing that goes down here. In these mines and pits, the powerful are the rulers, and strength is law!”
Lu Li was surprised. Suddenly, as if he was in deep thought, he said, “Then why don’t you go to hell? Deaf Taoist, kill them!”
The Deaf Taoist’s robe was ripped apart as he grew taller but only by 10 feet. The ceiling in the mines was too low for him to transform completely.
Black airstream swirled around him. He appeared to be horrifying. After consuming several pieces of Spring Gold, he had almost recovered. So he was now much stronger than an average immortal.
The hunchbacked old man and the other two were startled. Since the Deaf Taoist had taken actions, they could not await their doom. The Hunchbacked old man was the first to take out his weapon and charge at the Deaf Taoist.
“You don’t even have a Relic weapon. How miserable have you become after being in the Divinity for such a long time?”
When Lu Li recognized that the armors and weapons the three had were low-level ones, not Relics, he sneered. Lu Li took out a saber, not the Relic one, but the Quasi Relic saber—the Cold Blade.
He waved his hand. A crescent ray of sword light whooshed out. The air began to tremble and Xuan Qi started to gather. Leveraging the force in nature, Lu Li aimed at the obese lady.
This was the first time Lu Li got involved in a fight since he became an immortal. He had tested the powers of the Slayer’s move in the Prison of Ice. His power was stronger now compared to the time when he was still not an immortal. But here in the Divinity, it seemed like his powers were contained. This ray of sword light only had a length of five feet.
When the obese lady saw the ray of sword light, her expression changed. She cried out in alarm and took out a jade shield, struggling to step back.
To her dismay, she realized she could not. She could see nothing but a blood-red world.
The Deaf Taoist and the hunchbacked old man were in close combat. The Deaf Taoist did not take out his stone column since the space did not allow for such actions. He just punched at the rod the hunchbacked old man held.
The Deaf Taoist had recovered indeed. His physical strength was multiple times stronger than Lu Li’s. The rod was pushed away, and then the Deaf Taoist punched on the hunchbacked old man’s chest. His armor cracked, and he was smashed away while blood oozed out from his mouth.
Lu Li was successful as well. The jade talisman the obese lady was holding shattered. She was knocked away. Half of her body was covered in blood. Clearly, she had sustained a heavy injury.
“Those immortals are not that good!”
Lu Li raised his eyebrows. He thought that since he had just ascended, he must be at the bottom among the immortals. Unexpectedly, he had mauled a fellow immortal so easily.
The fact was!
If Lu Li had used the wind-related Profound Meaning, he could not have wounded the obese lady so seriously. He might not even hurt her.
But Lu Li used the Slayer’s move, one of the 10 most powerful moves in the Divinity. How vast was the Divinity? How many powerful warriors would there be, and how many different Fundamental Principles? That must be beyond calculation. Yet, the Slayer’s move was one of the top 10. While Lu Li had just scratched the surface, it was equally intimidating.
The Slayer’s move was not a one-sided approach. It contained four sorts of strikes, the ray of sword light and soul attack, containing the target with a natural force and a special kind of energy, which was impossible to defend against effectively.
“Boom, boom, boom!”
Gaining the upper hand, the Deaf Taoist did not show mercy. He dashed on and punched at the hunchbacked man’s chest, leaving no chance for the latter to react and fight back.
“Well… Deaf Taoist’s speed, strength and reflexes are all better than mine.”
Lu Li nodded after observing. The Deaf Taoist was a creature from the Region of Doom and was famous for being physically strong. In the Region of Doom, he was one of the powerful ones. Now that his abilities were almost recovered, it was not difficult for him to defeat an average immortal.
The other middle-aged man was hesitating. In an instant, Lu Li and the Deaf Taoist had mauled two of them. Should he leave or fight?
“Stop, lords. We are sorry. We are blind as a bat. We are willing to give you our Spring Gold!”
Just when the middle-aged man was about to fight desperately, the hunchbacked old man had already surrendered, which stopped the middle-aged man. The Deaf Taoist turned to Lu Li, only to see Lu Li waving his saber at that middle-aged man.
“Go to hell—”
The Deaf Taoist understood Lu Li’s intention. The latter was never soft-hearted when faced with enemies. Besides… the three had found out that the Deaf Taoist was consuming Spring Gold. Once they report such information to the prefecture army, the consequences would be unimaginable.
The Deaf Taoist punched the hunchbacked old man’s head. Knowing that he could not make it alive, the hunchbacked old man took out a dagger and stabbed the Deaf Taoist’s chest. Before the old man could even push the dagger for an inch, his head was crushed.
Lu Li was successful as well. That middle-aged man was smashed away. Half of his body was tainted red by blood. Bones revealed from his chest. Within one move, he was heavily injured.
“End them all!”
Lu Li said coldly. Black airstream was tumbling around the Deaf Taoist. His red eyes were like two blood moons. Glaring at the obese lady with contempt, the Deaf Taoist said, “Who gave you the courage to have dirty thoughts of my lord? Don’t you know what you are like? Go to hell!”
