Chapter 671: Chapter 362 “Bluff” and “Leave” (Ask for Subscription)_1
The White Robe World Master furrowed his brows tightly, his gaze fixated on Milton Cheney, who stood not far from him Within the Void.
At this moment, he truly couldn’t make up his mind.
He simply could not ascertain Milton Cheney’s true identity and therefore dared not rashly take him back to the Tide Realm.
Otherwise, if anything serious went wrong, he would surely bear the blame.
Milton Cheney noticed that the hostility emanating from the White Robe World Master had diminished significantly in an instant. Although he felt somewhat surprised, his expression did not betray any emotion.
“Could he really have been bluffed by my few words?”
Milton uttered to himself, feeling both doubtful and uncertain.
Because his aim in saying those words was not to have these three Realm Masters abandon their plans to make a move against him.
He was clear that, after plotting for so long, it was almost impossible for them to give up their intentions of taking action against him just because of a few words he had said.
He spoke this way only to tease out a bit more information.
But to his surprise, the White Robe World Master seemed to have imagined something from his words and was actually considering whether or not to make a move against him.
Milton could clearly sense the animosity directed towards him by the World Master dissipating rapidly.
Though many thoughts arose in his mind, Milton maintained an undisturbed demeanor on the surface.
He showed a faint smile, seemingly confident about everything.
“What to do now? Do we continue to take action?”
“I think it’s better to give up for the time being, or maybe return to the Tide Realm first and report the specifics to Tustin Realm Master.”
“We cannot give up. If we lose this opportunity, maybe we won’t find a better one later.”
“…”
The three Realm Masters communicated with each other through voice transmission, a content unknown to Milton.
Even if Milton knew, he wouldn’t be too interested in it.
After all, the final results were only two possibilities; one was that the three Realm Masters would still choose to take action against Milton, and the other was that they would give up or at least for the time being.
Regardless of the result, Milton wasn’t too concerned about it.
Naturally, if it were the latter, it would be better. Milton didn’t wish for any complications.
Getting through this True Body Simulation smoothly would be preferable, as even within the True Body Simulation, Milton actually didn’t want to be too involved with the Tide Realm.
After all, it was evident from the White Robe World Master’s reaction that a White Robe World Master had indeed appeared in the Tide Realm before.
In other words, his past Reincarnation Simulation and this True Body Simulation were interconnected.
Luckily, Milton had been aware of this for a while.
Actually, Milton had no intention of letting this identity be associated with the White Crow Realm Master of the Tide Realm.
Fortunately, this was within the True Body Simulation and not the actual reality.
Otherwise, Milton would never have spoken those previous words no matter what.
As they involved the biggest secret of his existence.
Indeed, in this world, the Simulator was undoubtedly his greatest secret.
If all went as planned, Milton intended to keep this secret for life.
“I hope you will consider not focusing on me anymore. After all, you wouldn’t want any accidents to occur, would you?”
“Even the Zero Realm Master could not provide complete protection for the entire Tide Realm.”
Milton Cheney spoke with a light smile.
His tone was mild, yet the threat within it was serious.
As his words settled, all three Realm Masters fell into Silence.
They had not expected Milton to say such things when they were about to take action against him after driving him into the Void.
It could be said that the information contained in Milton’s words had completely disrupted their schemes.
Although they were somewhat disdainful of Milton’s threat in their hearts,
they dared not take the risk.
Because if they lost the bet, the issue would not only concern themselves but the entire Tide Realm.
Although the chance was minimal—after all, the Tide Realm is one of the largest worlds in the World Sea and not to be underestimated even within the entire Ninth Universe—
a small possibility is still a possibility.
The Tide Realm was their shared Main World, and if they really invited the wolf into the house, their responsibility would be enormous.
Especially now, none of them knew what Milton Cheney’s true identity was before his Reincarnation.
What if Milton had held a high position in the Abyssal Domain before his Reincarnation? What if their actions against him in this life would ultimately provoke the Abyssal Realm Master to move against them?
The Tide Realm is not afraid of a particular world within the Abyssal Domain.
But it also depends on whether it’s worth it.
Although Milton Cheney had some connection with Mansour, the Transcendent being from the Wizard Realm, he was not Mansour himself.
If it had been Mansour, they might have been willing to take the risk.
But Milton Cheney was not.
This led to a question of value.
Whether the cost of taking action against Milton was worth the potential unknown consequences the Tide Realm might face in the future.
A butterfly’s wings can have a much greater impact than one imagines at times.
At least for now, the three Realm Masters had temporarily set aside the idea of taking action against Milton.
