“I don’t know any cousin. Go away. This place isn’t welcoming for you, and you can’t bother my mama,” Coco said with determination, clenching his small fist.

Wasn’t Ding Ding Shen Mei’s child? Why was he calling Shen Ning “Mama”? Even he, who considered himself mentally agile, was now in a fog, unable to make sense of it all.

“Coco, go back home for now. Mama will come up in a little while,” Shen Ning said in a hushed tone, gently pushing him and urging him to return home. She had lost her composure.

Coco had spent the entire day cooped up at home, feeling restless since he hadn’t gone to kindergarten. When he finally spotted Mama returning on the balcony, he rushed out with excitement. However, to his surprise, he found Mama tangled up with a flamboyant man.

Li Zhijun stood there, utterly dumbfounded, watching the little boy’s defiant departure. Though Coco bore an uncanny resemblance to Ding Ding, his behavior and demeanor were worlds apart.
